The 7th Annual Hope on the Slopes, in Breckenridge on Feb. 25, 2012, provides avid skiers and snowboarders an opportunity to make their day of skiing or riding more meaningful by raising money and awareness for the American Cancer Society, the nation's #1 non-profit contributor of funds for cancer research.
While at the Hope on the Slopes, both teams and individuals will compete for fantastic prizes on two levels: Dollars Raised and a Competitive Ski/Snowboarding Challenge. Past prizes have included free lodging, skis and snowboards, mountain gift certificates, and much more! Skiers and boarders of all ages and skill levels are welcome!
Hope on the Slopes depends on the generous donations of cash and prizes from local businesses in order to put on a fun and memorable event and to ensure that all the money raised by participants goes directly to the cause. Your company will enjoy positive exposure as volunteers and participants promote Hope on the Slopes to their friends and colleagues. Your company's logo and name can appear on a variety of promotional and media materials, including the competitor bib, event shirt, and website, depending on your level of sponsorship.
We're looking for skiers and snowboarders with a passion to fight cancer who are interested in recruiting teams, getting prizes, publicizing the event, and finding volunteers for the day of the event. Whether you are interested in being on the Leadership Team that plans the event or just want to volunteer on the day of the event, we'd love to have you aboard!
